We love these Little Star sessions! Little J was the best model- she gave us the cutest smiles in every set and every outfit we put her in. How can you not smile yourself when looking at these? I hardly have a serious face in her entire gallery!
Such a happy girl! And a stylish one…her football outfit was custom-made for her. Can you even stand the little football leggings? Her Christmas dress and headband are also just too cute.

We’re so excited to be bringing back our December Deals! Every week from now until the new year we’ll be offering a special deal for a Heidi Hope Photography session. Each deal is available for ONE WEEK ONLY. After one week, the deal, and the opportunity, expires! If you’re a newsletter subscriber, you’re already in the know about the entire series. To hear about future promotions, sign up for our newsletter here.
This week’s deal (expires 5pm EST, December 7th, 2012):
No minimum on Little Star sessions scheduled for January-March 2013 in the studio!

Little Star sessions are some of our favorites. It is a shorter studio session we offer that is focused around creating portraits of a single baby or child. Photographing one child or baby at a time allows us to really get to know their personality and capture their unique expressions. It’s perfect for updated baby photos, to capture a special milestone, or to create artwork for a child’s room. We also have many clients book Little Stars for their youngest child because older siblings often have individual portraits while the younger siblings don’t have anything of just themselves. These sessions go by so fast! We spend more time getting creative, playing, dressing up, and focusing all of our attention on your little star.
How do I take advantage of this deal??
Call the studio (401-864-1919) this week to schedule and submit your session fee for a Little Star session. Little Star sessions are for one child only. Please note we are here to answer your calls Monday through Friday 9-5pm. Calls during non business hours will be returned in the order received. Session fee must be submitted before 5pm EST, December 7th, 2012.

How handsome is this little guy?! Those lips and lashes completely melt me. Approaching his first birthday, baby W was already on the move and boy, was he fast! For every shot I got in focus, 10 were blurry! He crawled, climbed, scooted and cruised around the studio for a full hour. 100% boy! We started with some Holiday portraits and then finished the session with some classic baby sets. I can’t wait to show you the rest mom and dad. Enjoy your sneak peek!

It was a great day to play at the park, and play we did! From goose-watching (there were literal flocks of geese at EVERY part of Roger Williams) to flower picking, to exploring the Japanese gardens, this little one didn’t stop moving the whole session. I’m glad we stopped at this patch of purple flowers- she loved picking them and giving them to me and her mom. It created some quiet moments where her sweetness really shined.
The Little Star sessions have been so much fun for me- it’s fulfilling to really connect with one little model and capture the different facets of their personalities. And they tend to be great workouts with 2-4 year olds!
J, great to meet you and little H!

This first picture is just too cute not to post. Baby M wasn’t too sure about our Tickle-Me-Elmo, and made this face every time I tried to make him laugh with it. Luckily, M was pretty sure Mickey Mouse was an okay character, so he stayed in the studio with us for the rest of the session. Mickey managed to get some pretty cute smiles!
The plan was to do a sporty look, a classic look, and then head outside for a couple shots outdoors. M rocked his baseball look, and when we got outside, couldn’t stop laughing at the family dog running through the grass. Pretty cute!
C family, thanks for coming in!

When R’s mom called to book a Little Star session with us, the girls at HHP were excited. “She’s so cute, and so polite!” they said. I was really looking forward to getting to photograph her myself.
When the day came, we got a beautiful Summery morning down by the beach to shoot. The girls at the studio were right- she was sweet as can be, holding my hand as we walked to each location. From playing with bubbles to duck-watching, she breezed through her session, and was a dream to photograph. We got some shots with and without her glasses, which reminded me of the ones I used to wear as a kid.
M and R, thanks for spending a morning with me! Enjoy your preview.

We planned a shoot by the water for Baby J’s session, and it was a beautiful, sunny day for it! However, the ‘sea breeze’ (okay, a little more than a breeze) had us beat after a few minutes on the beach. Baby J was a trooper for his windblown look.
When we moved a little inland, we found the perfect patch of sparkly morning light to shoot in, and it turned out to be the perfect ‘Spring’ background! A happy turn of events.
Back at the studio, we had J smiling through a couple more sets. I LOVE his giraffe outfit..I had only seen that hat on newborns, but it’s adorable on older babies.
C family, enjoy your preview!

1-year-old Baby C brought some sun to the studio on a cloudy, rainy day! She didn’t stop laughing, clapping, and blowing kisses to the camera for her entire session. You might recognize her last outfit from one of our blog sponsors…The Measure! Love that little sundress.
One of the toys we have at the studio is a Tickle-Me-Elmo, and it never fails to make babies laugh, even if they haven’t been introduced to Elmo yet. “Well, I guess we need to get an Elmo now!” mom said at the end of the session, and it’s probably true- C was smitten. We apologize in advance to any parents who need to get an Elmo after sessions with us.
It was great to meet you, W family! Enjoy your preview!

I met baby B and his mom at the park for the studio’s first outdoor Little Star session of the year! The morning light was gorgeous, but it was pretty windy out there. Good thing baby B had a gorgeous handmade sweater handy, and rocked the windblown look! We did a couple looks at the park, then headed into the warm studio for a few more. Just look at those blue eyes!
I’m looking forward to lots more outdoor sessions booked for the next couple months! Enjoy your sneak peek, J and B.

I’m always excited to see baby S on my calendar. I love catching up with mom and dad and S gets even more gorgeous (and well dressed) by the second. When mom told me she had purchased this outfit from The Measure, a local children’s clothing boutique out of Boston Ma, for S’s Little Star Session I was so excited to style a little set around it. Soft grays and touches of lace made a perfect place for S to play that was all little girl. At 18 months S was very busy and loved exploring all of our toys. She warmed right up and mom later told me that she was saying “Hi-yee” (translation: Heidi) the whole way home in the car! MELT. Enjoy your sneak peek!
