This gorgeous baby girl has grown up so fast in front of our eyes!  She was full of personality during our recent Little Star session and her gorgeous brown eyes just took my breath away!  From sweet, to sassy, to full-out giggles, I love all of the expressions we captured as she explored the studio.  Having 2 older brothers, we planned this session for her to be 100% girly girl.  Perfect for a little princess!  Enjoy your sneak peek.

I’m always so excited to visit with the E family.  They came into the studio last week for a Little Star Session with C, who is now 2 years old.  He loved everything that moved.  Tractors, trains, airplanes, firetrucks… I broke out everything we own with wheels for this little guy.  I don’t think he even knew he was having his picture taken!  To tell you the truth, I was having so much fun, I kind-of forgot too!  Enjoy your sneak peek.

Little Star Sessions are always some of my favorite!  They are simple and sweet and really allow the personality of my subjects to shine through.  L loved being in front of the camera and her bubbly personality was so much fun to capture!  She rocked each sweet set-up and flashed her big smile from start to finish.  And check out those baby blues… stunning!  Thanks for such a fun morning H family.  Enjoy your sneak peek!

I couldn’t wait to meet adorable J for our Little Star Session.   When I chatted with mom before our session, she loved all of our timeless baby portraits.  She liked photos that were simple and sweet with a few pops of color or small props and LOVED all of the photos with white lights.  I always love when parents tell me that is what they are looking for because out of everything we can dream up, my favorite photos of my own children are those timeless baby portraits that really capture their personality.  And, I can’t help it, there is nothing cuter than a naked baby!  J is the youngest of 3 kids and mom is excited to have a portrait to proudly hang with her others.  I can’t wait for you to see the rest mom and I’m dying to know what you pick for the wall!

J has the honor of being the first official post on our new blogsite! He was such a joy to photograph. So curious, happy, and his eyes stole the show in every frame.

We did a few classic nautical sets with the vintage sailor suit his grandmother gave him, then did a couple casual play shots with our suitcase and some toys. I love the last look, too- that little newsboy cap is just the cutest!

I had so much fun last week with all of our Little Star sessions.  Winter is the perfect time for these sessions and they are always a fun way to get those milestone portraits of baby!  Mom loved all of our classic, timeless baby portraits and really wanted to show of C’s personality.  He was so adorable, I could see why!  He started off our session quite serious, but by the end he was rolling around laughing.  He especially loved stacking blocks and practicing his new crawling skills.  I loved the portraits below that incorporate his special blue blanket.  It’s always fun to capture a little piece of babyhood with the portraits we take.  And how amazing do C’s big blue eyes look with it?!  Enjoy your sneak peek!

Everything about this was so fun for us- from designing the sets to hanging out with so many of our clients in one day! Anyone that booked a 2013 session with HHP was eligible for one of these free Valentine Mini sessions, and it was so awesome to be able to gift this to them. Oh my gosh, is this not one of the cutest babies you have ever seen?  I was totally in love with her from the first second she looked at me with those big brown eyes.  Little Star sessions are some of my favorite and especially when babies are at this age.  It feels like I’m just hanging out with mom and dad, playing dress up with their little one.  Sometimes I have to remind myself that I’m working!  M was so sweet.  She indulged us in plenty of adorable outfits and sets.  I’m wondering how I’ll ever choose favorites for this gallery!  Enjoy your sneak peek!

Little A came in with her mom and dad for portraits for her second birthday! Mom said she would be shy in the beginning, so we set up a fun tea party set for her to play in for a bit. It didn’t take long for her to warm up, and after a couple minutes, she was such a ham! Her bright, funny, photogenic personality shone through in every shot.

Her birthday party will be Minnie Mouse-themed, and of course her favorite outfit was her Minnie dress she wore at the end! So cute!

J’s shoot was so much fun! He’s coming back in for a cakesmash in a couple months for his first birthday, but mom wanted to schedule a Little Star shoot to capture him before he started walking. He’s definitely a fast crawler right now, and I bet he’ll be running by the time we see him again!

J loves water, so we created a simple nautical set for him to play in. The last shot is the studio favorite- mom wanted to get a classic baby shot, and we just love how this concept turned out.
