Wasn’t I just cuddling this little guy as a newborn?  Gosh, time flies!  I’ve been keeping up with baby C on facebook, and seeing how handsome he is, I was dying to see him again for our next baby plan session!  Mom and dad brought the most adorable outfits and we headed outdoors for a fun 6 month session by the bay.  C loved watching the swans and boats while chillin’ in our cutest baby-boy props!  Enjoy your sneak peek mom and dad.  So great seeing you again!  xo

Best.  Baby.  Ever.  Seriously, this little guy rocked his session in record time.  He just sat and smiled at me.  He has 2 darling big sisters at home, so I think he fully enjoyed his time in the spotlight during a session just for him.  We kept things classic with a few fun props to mix it up.  I loved the tie and fedora mom brought along, but L looked just as adorable in anything we put him in!  L, come back and play anytime!

This sweet girl is the 3rd baby in a way-too-gorgeous family!  I’ve been lucky enough to photograph each of these dolls at my favorite age, 6 months old.  S was so easy going and full of smiles, and as you can see, the camera adores her.  But, not as much as I did.  I wanted to take her home.  I wish I could convince mom and dad to have a fourth, and a fifth, and a sixth….  Well, this beautiful session was all about baby S and she rocked it.  We captured so many beautiful portraits, I had a hard time choosing favorites.  I’m sure you can see why below.  I’m so excited to catch up with the big kids again next at our mommy-and-me party just before mother’s day!  Enjoy your sneak peek.

I always love catching up with mom when this family comes in to visit from Boston for baby portraits.  I’ve been taking pictures of her gorgeous kiddos for almost 4 years now, I think.  7 month old twins V and M were so incredibly sweet.  They were at such a playful and smiley age.  Mom told me she had a little flight suit for M, so I thought a little make-believe plane would be an adorable set for the two to play in.  I think you’ll agree, they are too cute for words!  Enjoy your sneak peek!

I loved meeting this sweet baby girl and her family last week.  Mom and I chatted a few weeks back and she had so many great ideas for our session.  We started off surrounding L with a wall of flowers.  She was so pretty in pink!  Then everyone changed into their fabulous black outfits for our family portraits.  I’ve been loving all of the formal wear we’ve been seeing for family pictures lately.  There is something so fun and celebratory about it!  I could just picture those photos with mom and dad being displayed at her wedding some day as I was taking them.  We had such a fun morning, I can’t wait to show you the rest!  Enjoy your sneak peek!  ~ Heidi

Last week ended on the sweetest note with gorgeous 6 month old B and family visiting our studio.  I last got to photograph her back in the fall as a newborn, and was so excited to see the beautiful baby she’s grown into!  She was a natural in front of the camera and the session flew by.  We started with an adorable tea party with her favorite teddies, and then decided B might want a turn on the swing too!  These swing pictures are a little bit of photoshop magic because baby is always safely supported by plenty of helping hands at the studio.  B was a perfect little breath of spring!  Enjoy your sneak peek!

I’d like to introduce you to Grace’s future husband!  I say that not just because he is unbearably adorable, but because his mom and I have been besties since college.  When we were expecting together, she a boy and I a girl, naturally we immediately started making plans to marry them off to each other.  We like to pose them together every opportunity we get and then inevitably giggle “this one is DEFINITELY going to be displayed at their wedding!”  Somehow while Grace has been growing, I still picture S as a newborn, yet here he was already 6 months old!  He is one of the happiest babies I’ve ever photographed and he was a great audience for my funny faces and odd sense of humor (just like his mom!).  He practiced his ball skills, sitting up alone, and taking a ride in our wagon.  The whole session was too perfect until he was so happy, he tipped right over!  I think when the only thing you can say went wrong was that your subject was too happy, you’ve had one amazing session!  Enjoy your sneak peek.

Little Star Sessions are always some of my favorite!  They are simple and sweet and really allow the personality of my subjects to shine through.  L loved being in front of the camera and her bubbly personality was so much fun to capture!  She rocked each sweet set-up and flashed her big smile from start to finish.  And check out those baby blues… stunning!  Thanks for such a fun morning H family.  Enjoy your sneak peek!

I had the best week last week!  We had so many adorable babies in our studio, I couldn’t even contain my excitement.  I have my own little 9 month old at home, yet I want to pack up each of these cuties and take them home with me!  Baby B was so much fun to photograph last week.  He was fascinated with the camera and all of the silly faces I was making behind it.  At our pre-session mom had mentioned that they loved snowboarding, so naturally I said “bring the snowboard!”  Is there anything cuter than a naked baby in a winter hat?  I’m pretty sure there isn’t!  Enjoy your sneak peek!

J has the honor of being the first official post on our new blogsite! He was such a joy to photograph. So curious, happy, and his eyes stole the show in every frame.

We did a few classic nautical sets with the vintage sailor suit his grandmother gave him, then did a couple casual play shots with our suitcase and some toys. I love the last look, too- that little newsboy cap is just the cutest!
