We’ve been friends with this gorgeous family since moving to Rhode Island.  Dad, Matt Phipps, was our realtor and helped us find our first home here when moving from MA.  Soon after moving to RI we opened our studio and it just so happened that Matt’s wife was expecting twins!  I had never photographed newborn twins, so I asked if they would like to come in for a session.  Mom and I hit it off.  It turned out she and I both studied Art History at different UMass campuses and later became interested in Graphic Design.  She ended up being the very first person I hired to help at HHP.  Their girls are gorgeous and I loved photographing them as babies.  We’ve kept in close touch as Matt helped us sell our home (in less than 2 weeks) and find our dream house last year.  That was back when I was pregnant with Grace and probably the worst client ever.  Then, it was time for a new studio!  We like to cram as many life changes into a year as possible.  Once he helped us find the perfect spot, I wondered when we would see him again.  It seemed as if we had been on the move for 5 straight years and now we were finally settled.  Then, he called to book a session for their SECOND set of twins!  I was so excited to catch up with mom, who is now an independent Graphic Designer, and new big sisters M and N who are now 3 1/2 years old.    Their twin boys R and S were adorable.  I thought they looked totally different from their big sisters as newborns.  We started our session outdoors for a few family portraits with the bay as our background.  It was about 80 degrees and so humid that the air around us was turning into sprinkles.  They all braved it for some sweet outdoors shots that we pulled off in about 20 minutes.  Then, we headed indoors to the studio for some classic portraits.  M and N did an amazing job holding their new baby brothers, who I’m pretty sure can sleep through anything!  Congratulations P family.  Enjoy your sneak peek!
