This little guy was a heart-melter. So sweet, and so excited to be at the beach! His mom wasn’t sure how he’d react to it, but after only a few minutes, it was clear that he’d probably live there if he could. We got our family shots at the dunes before letting him splash and play in the water, and barely got him out of it! His cousin R was a great helper, and modeled for me at the end of the session while C was drying off.
Great to meet you, O family!

We’re back in the swing of things, after a great July 4th! Stay tuned for a couple more beach previews after this one.
A and M were the sweetest siblings. Their second and fourth birthdays were coming up right after our photoshoot, so we got a few shots in their birthday outfits. Aren’t those shirts and flowers adorable? Their other wardrobe change was adorable too, but little M seemed to like the natural look better.
Works for the beach!
That last shot is one of my favorites- all sparkle and light, just like them.

All of these maternity sessions can only mean one thing- we’ll have plenty of adorable newborns to share with you soon! In the meantime, it’s been so fun working with expectant families. K, P, and their 2-year-old daughter K were beautiful subjects, and the day couldn’t have been more perfect for their session by the bay. This little spot has served us well so far this year!
How cute is little K with mom’s belly? You can already tell she’ll be a doting big sister to her little sister-to-be.
I love the last shot of her and mom…so pensive and sweet.
B family, it was great to meet you! We can’t wait to meet your new little girl soon!

These guys were just the sweetest, most laid-back family. I felt like I was just hanging out with them while shooting- not conducting a photoshoot! As you would expect with 2-year-old twins, most of their session was spent moving- chasing J and L, getting them to run into mom and dad’s arms, spinning, jumping, running, and playing. I bet they had a good nap that afternoon!
The colors that mom chose were beautiful, and went so well with the greens and blues of our bayside location. When I chatted with her before the session, she said that she wanted candids and natural shots of J and L. I love how everything came out- the candid, photojournalistic style definitely brought out everyone’s personalities, and showed the sweet connection between the whole family.
L family, it was great to hang out with you.
Enjoy your preview!

It was a great day to play at the park, and play we did! From goose-watching (there were literal flocks of geese at EVERY part of Roger Williams) to flower picking, to exploring the Japanese gardens, this little one didn’t stop moving the whole session. I’m glad we stopped at this patch of purple flowers- she loved picking them and giving them to me and her mom. It created some quiet moments where her sweetness really shined.
The Little Star sessions have been so much fun for me- it’s fulfilling to really connect with one little model and capture the different facets of their personalities. And they tend to be great workouts with 2-4 year olds!
J, great to meet you and little H!

“She loves balloons!” her dad said when we were planning N’s session. Having just turned two, it only seemed appropriate to surprise her with a bunch for her photoshoot! As you would with balloons, she ran, laughed, jumped and played with them, and I have SO many fun action shots. There weren’t many moments where she was standing still, but when she was, it was magic.
N was having so much fun, we breezed through a couple more sets. She loved playing with our vintage plane, and took a tea party quite seriously.
I got my workout in, running with her and playing peekaboo!
Such a fun session. P family, enjoy your preview!

I last met this beautiful family when they welcomed newborn Q into the world almost 2 years ago. Remember this beauty?

I was so thrilled to capture Q as a big sister this time around! At almost 2 years old she was so sweet with her little brother C. We focused much of our session on capturing everyone together as a family. Of course I had to get a couple of individuals of Q as well! With the help of Elmo we managed to pull of some beautiful portraits of both siblings. I couldn’t get over how much Q and C look alike as newborns. Then C made his big photo debut with some classic newborn portraits to finish off our session. Enjoy your sneak peek!

We had a fun time running around with V at the studio last week for her 2nd birthday session. She was one of the busiest two-year-olds I’ve ever photographed, but when she’d glance at the camera for a split second, it was magic! V is gorgeous with her big brown eyes, long beautiful lashes, and the delicate curls that frame her face. Two year old cake smashes are even more fun than our first birthdays because by two, kids actually understand what fun it is to have a giant cake all to themselves. V was still hesitant to get messy, so we stopped for a few clean ups in between bites. She was adorable trying to put the cake back on to the stand anytime it fell off! Enjoy your sneak peek!

What a fun week I had last week with the preschool crowd! E was so much fun to chase around the studio. We started with some classic portraits and then played dress up with some pettiskirts and girly props. I think E’s favorite part of the session was all of the rounds of peek-a-boo. I loved capturing those gorgeous blue eyes and big smile! Enjoy your sneak peek!

I had so much fun at the Little Star Session for little miss O last week. I’ve been photographing her family since mom was expecting her over two years ago and I enjoy each time we get to see each other again! O seemed so grown up to me at our most recent session. She reminded me so much of my own daughter in her mannerisms and expressions. I could have played all day! The best part of our session was all of O’s giggles. She’s a beauty inside and out! Enjoy your sneak peek!
