I’ve had the pleasure of photographing these two gorgeous sisters since C was one year old. Mom soon had an announcement for us. S was on the way! These two couldn’t be more opposite. C does not like having her picture taken one bit. S would sit and smile at the camera all day long. My goal going into this session was just to get a single image of both girls smiling at the camera! I’m happy to report that we got it. In fact, I think C might just be warming up to me and my camera because I captured more images of her smiling than ever!
Here they are then:

And now!

One of my favorite babies of all time, baby O

is now a BIG SISTER!
Well little brother N is one gorgeous baby too! I had so much fun catching up with the M family at our session last week and loved having the opportunity to help welcome baby N. He started the session wide awake (yes he has big blue eyes so far too!) then finally fell fast asleep for some perfect newborn photos. Check out that huge smile in the last image. I’m so lucky to have such ADORABLE clients! Enjoy your preview!

The best part of my job is watching families grow. I photographed big brother D two years ago when he was just born. This time around he was on the move! We finally got him to jump into a shot at the end of our session and it was totally worth the effort. He was so sweet kissing his baby brother. Baby brother D slept right through the commotion and gave us some beautiful newborn portraits. Enjoy your preview.

This little peanut looked just like a doll! She had the most tiny delicate features and long lashes. Once we got her to sleep she slept right through to the very end of the shoot. I especially love the images of her in the garden. We are just about to retire that set so she is a perfect way to end our run with it! Enjoy your preview!

Phew! Baby B’s newborn session was a full house! I had so much fun capturing 3 generations of B’s family all welcoming her to the world. 4 year old M, 2 year old S, and newborn B were all a joy to photograph. This is one seriously gorgeous family! Enjoy your preview!

Little baby R was quiet as a mouse, while our studio was anything but during her session! Add two adoring parents, two older siblings, a grandparent, and a great aunt and last Friday was a very busy morning! Dad won our hot dad contest back in the spring so there will be more shots to come from this family :0) For today, I had to share some of my favorites before I head home. Talk about a photogenic family. Everyone looked amazing in front of the camera. Clearly this baby girl is very loved. Mom is the type of super woman I’m insanely jealous of. I remember how hard it was getting out of the house with my one newborn baby daughter. I still have trouble getting out of the house and she’s practically dressing herself! On top of getting everyone out of the house and looking gorgeous by 8am last Friday (after the whole family being sick last week), she also came holding more than just a diaper bag and hangers. She had the time to prepare the most fabulous gift basket for me! Okay mom, you can stop being so perfect now! ;0) Enjoy your preview.

It was only a little over a year ago that I was photographing newborn baby C at her home. In fact, I didn’t even have a studio yet! Last week I had the pleasure of meeting the newest member of the family and trying to capture some sibling portraits of the two babies. We have been thrilled to be getting so many calls lately from families who are expecting baby number 2. It is such a joy to watch our families grow. Sometimes our head is spinning reigning in two babies, but the resulting images are always completely worth the chaos! Enjoy your preview W family!

I just adored this family. 3 year old M was one of the sweetest older siblings I’ve ever had at a newborn shoot. He was gentle and patient and full of kisses for his baby sister L. Clearly I love their images together because it is taking up the majority of this preview! After M left with dad and grampa, we were able to get some beautiful portraits of little L all on her own. She was an incredibly strong newborn and she knew just how she wanted to be posed. Luckily, she looked gorgeous no matter how she was posed! Enjoy your preview!

It’s been a while since we have had twins in the studio and I had forgotten how much fun they are! A and D were so good to me at our session yesterday. They were nice and sleepy and loved being posed together. They would even snuggle up into each other if they were placed too far apart. Their due date was the 4th of July so we worked really hard for the last shot below but it was well worth it. They are just so adorable! I can’t wait to share the rest with you mom and dad.
