Baby C may be turning one, but I am happy to say that I will still be seeing more of this family this year.  Mom already has baby number 2 on the way!  Baby C had a wonderful 1st birthday session.  She was much like my daughter at this age… wanting only to be in mommy’s arms.  I must say that some of my favorite shots from the session were taken just there.  I adore the portraits of her and mom together.  C loved being outside so I think some of our best stuff was in the park.  I can’t wait to show you the rest!  Enjoy your preview!

Last week ended on a great note with two wonderful sessions on Friday.  C came into the studio for a little mini maternity session and we had so much fun, the time flew by!  We took a few classics in the studio and then headed outdoors to take advantage of the gorgeous afternoon.  Don’t you just love the summer in New England?!  Enjoy your preview C.  Can’t wait to meet your little girl.

This very special couple visited the studio last week for their maternity portraits and I had so much fun meeting them.  They will be back in just three short weeks to welcome their newborn baby.  When one of A’s friends contacted us about a month ago with a special request, we just had to make room in our schedule.  A and D’s family and friends all contributed to their Belly to Baby package with a surprise registry!  We feel so honored that our studio was chosen to give this amazing gift to a very deserving family.  We can’t wait to hear your good news soon ;0)

I have really been digging all of my maternity sessions lately!  This one was especially fun because J and J brought a great prop along for me to incorporate.  This couple just arrived to their new home in Newport RI after a big move from Hawaii.  Mom is due in THREE WEEKS so we got her in just in time.  Can you believe how amazing she looks?  J and J love to surf and thought they’d bring their board along to see what I could do with it.  We came up with so many adorable shots!  Enjoy your preview.  I can’t wait to meet this little one!

K and P were my last couple for the day and we were able to get some beautiful portraits using the evening light.  I had a brilliant idea to bring 2 dozen balloons to the park, but after spending the day in my 90 degree car, they didn’t quite have the “wow” factor I envisioned!  K and P gladly indulged me nevertheless and we did end up with some fun shots!  Enjoy your preview!

I ended Saturday with 2 maternity sessions in the park and both were so lovely.  The park was the busiest I have ever seen it, but luckily we were able to scoot off to some not-so-crowded spots.  A and D were actually engaged in the park so in addition to being a beautiful backdrop, the park really had meaning for them as a couple.  Just before their maternity session I was even able to gather some natural props which I plan on saving for their newborn session!  Enjoy your preview ;0)

Four maternity sessions at the park scheduled in one week…there are about to be a bunch of adorable newborns in this studio!  I have just loved shooting in the park these last two weeks and every session has been completely different from the last!  The couple who came down today was so much fun.  They were up for anything.  Mom even laid on top of the bridge for one of my favorite shots from the session.  After the park, we hit the studio for a few classics.  Enjoy your preview mom and dad, can’t wait to meet your little man!
