Little baby R was quiet as a mouse, while our studio was anything but during her session!  Add two adoring parents, two older siblings, a grandparent, and a great aunt and last Friday was a very busy morning!  Dad won our hot dad contest back in the spring so there will be more shots to come from this family :0)  For today, I had to share some of my favorites before I head home.  Talk about a photogenic family.  Everyone looked amazing in front of the camera.  Clearly this baby girl is very loved.  Mom is the type of super woman I’m insanely jealous of.  I remember how hard it was getting out of the house with my one newborn baby daughter.  I still have trouble getting out of the house and she’s practically dressing herself!  On top of getting everyone out of the house and looking gorgeous by 8am last Friday (after the whole family being sick last week), she also came holding more than just a diaper bag and hangers.  She had the time to prepare the most fabulous gift basket for me!  Okay mom, you can stop being so perfect now!  ;0)  Enjoy your preview.

Oh sweet baby M!  He was one hungry boy.  Mom did an amazing job feeding him, and feeding him, and feeding him some more.  In between all of that eating he actually slept a little for us and we were able to get some beautiful portraits.  I just adore the family image below.  Seeing mom and dad’s joy and complete adoration, despite the exhaustion I know they were feeling, is so beautiful to me!  Doesn’t that just sum up the newborn experience?!  Enjoy your preview mom and dad.  And great job!

What better way to start the day than laughing and running around with 4 gorgeous sisters in my studio!  Ranging from 6 years to 2 months old, the W sisters were both beautiful and sweet.  Normally I love photographing groups this large outdoors, however mother nature had other plans as this week did nothing but rain.  We have so many adorable images but some of my favorite were taken with our golden background which I think looks beautiful with these girls coloring.  Love those freckles!  Enjoy your preview :0)

I have been so blessed to meet the most adorable newborns in the past week!  I can’t wait to share these previews with you today.  Baby R was just perfect.  He had lashes and lips that I couldn’t get over.  He started the session wide awake so we used that time to get some family portraits.  Once he finally settled to sleep, we got some adorable shots of him curled up and sleeping.  The last image of him in the basket is a favorite from the session.  I think I may design some holiday cards inspired by the red pears!  Enjoy your preview!

J and A were in this week for their maternity portrait session and we had such a ball!  We started in the studio and then headed outdoors for some variety.  Mom had the most fabulous wardrobe and killer shoes.  A girl after my own heart!  I can’t wait to meet their new fashionista!

Still getting caught up on last week’s previews!  This little angel and her family came down from Boston for her newborn portraits last week and we had such a great time!  It was super hot in the studio, but MK absolutely loved it!  Enjoy your preview!

Finally, a baby girl to break our streak of boys!  Last year it seemed that every newborn was a girl. This summer however the boys seem to be making a comeback in the delivery room!  Well sweet baby C brought flowers and ruffles back into the studio for me last week.  We got some adorable shots of her sleeping away in our different sets.  Can’t wait to show you the rest mom and dad! 

This fun family made their way down to the studio last week for some family maternity portraits.  It was over a year ago that A and I talked to set up maternity portraits for her first baby girl, C.  Well C made an early entrance and we never made it to our session date.  Now gorgeous C is already 1 year old and about to be a big sister!  Enjoy your preview W family.  It was great seeing you all again!  Can’t wait to meet the new addition.

Baby R was our third newborn boy in last week and I was pretty sure he would be as fiesty as the first few.  He started the session very alert, but after an hour of cuddling and feeding, he finally gave in to the sand man!  Then he rocked through our sets and we got some simply adorable portraits!  Enjoy your sneak peak mom and dad.

I feel like it was just yesterday that this couple was down for their maternity session.  Well, it almost was!  Just a few weeks later we got the call with their good news.  Baby N was a perfect little newborn to photograph.  He rocked every shot mom and dad requested… and then some!  I just adore all of the family portraits we got as well.  Enjoy your preview!
