This little peanut looked just like a doll! She had the most tiny delicate features and long lashes. Once we got her to sleep she slept right through to the very end of the shoot. I especially love the images of her in the garden. We are just about to retire that set so she is a perfect way to end our run with it! Enjoy your preview!

I had so much fun with last week’s newborn girls.  After a streak of mostly boys it was fun to girl it up a little!  Baby S’s parents loved everything soft and simple so we kept the whole session in that style.  What a perfect way to highlight S’s beautiful details!  Enjoy your preview :0)

L’s beauty just takes your breath away.  Like all two-year-olds, she much preferred to run around the studio, play dress up, and act silly rather than be placed amidst a bunch of props and told to smile.  One thing I’ve learned from my own two year old is that when you can’t beat em’, you must join em’.  And joining them is truly more fun anyways!  So we ran around, broke out the tea cups, wings, and magic wands and had fun being kids.  I think we captured L’s beauty and whit perfectly.  Enjoy your preview!

I had so much fun photographing the T family this week.  With two kids under three years old, we had our share of silly songs, peek-a-boo, and funny noises for the morning.  I think the best photographs of toddlers come from actually acting like a toddler yourself.  They find you relatively amusing and give you a few real smiles in between the “cheese” faces!  Enjoy your preview T family.  Can’t wait to show you the rest of these!

Another adorable baby celebrating her first birthday.  What a happy job this is!  I’ve been photographing this beauty since she was in mom’s belly.  She’s now a girl after my own heart digging into some birthday cake.  In fact she definitely goes into our hall of fame for cake lovers.  She was all business.  How could you not love this gorgeous cake by Sweet Indulgence with delicate hand-painted butterflies all over it.  We went back and forth about colors for the cake smash and decided on an all pink set at the last minute.  I’m so happy we did.  It fit this little princess perfectly!  Enjoy your preview mom and dad.  I’m already dreaming up ideas for your Christmas cards this year ;0)

It was something about this little girl.  I felt like I had to take my time with every little detail.  She was so beautiful.  Mom and dad were so in awe of her.  Simple and perfect.  I think newborns bring out the very best in all of us.  Maybe that’s why I love being around them so much.  They are a little bit of heaven right here on earth!

Baby B was certainly the smiley-est 3 month old I’ve ever photographed!  He just lit up with grins any time I looked at him.  And joy is contagious because I couldn’t help but smile our whole session as well.  I had so much fun capturing his happy little spirit!  Enjoy your sneak peek!

Hosting yesterday’s webinar put me a little behind in the preview department and this is one I have been DYING to share!  If I had more time, I would show off EVERY image from this session.  Baby J’s session was perfection from beginning to end.  He was too adorable for words, slept like a dream, rocked every pose, and brought along two gorgeous parents to boot!  Thanks for your patience mom and dad.  Hope it was worth the wait.  Can’t even wait to show you your full gallery!

I LOVE first birthdays! It is an amazing milestone to celebrate and parents are always thrilled with the images that capture their little one’s budding personality. What a personality E had! She was one of the happiest little one year olds I’ve ever photographed. The second I picked up the camera, she would look my way and give me a huge grin. I had the pleasure of meeting this little man last week. At only a week old he was the PERFECT little poser. He just cuddled up into every set!
