I have been dying to share this preview with you. Tracy’s mom, Joan, contacted me last year to photograph her daughter’s wedding. She is a family friend so I was upfront. “I have ZERO wedding experience” was my disclaimer. “They could be absolutely amazing or really horrible!” I think is what I said. Well Tracy and Joan said they trusted my photo skills and were up for seeing what I could do! And how could I turn down such a beautiful bride?! I did a walk through with them both last month and started getting very excited. That morning, it almost felt like my wedding! The whole family, wedding party, bride and groom were all so much fun. It was an amazing (and exhausting!) experience and I hope you are all as thrilled with your images as I am. Thank you so much for believing in me to capture such a special day in your lives. Congratulations to a beautiful bride and groom….. and you better call me one day if you decide to have some beautiful babies!! Enjoy your preview Mr and Mrs Niedzwiecki!

“In my life, as an artist, I will never create anything as beautiful as you already are…”

Oh her eyes, her eyes
Make the stars look like they’re not shining
Her hair, her hair
Falls perfectly without her trying
She’s so beautiful
And I tell her every day

Little baby R was quiet as a mouse, while our studio was anything but during her session! Add two adoring parents, two older siblings, a grandparent, and a great aunt and last Friday was a very busy morning! Dad won our hot dad contest back in the spring so there will be more shots to come from this family :0) For today, I had to share some of my favorites before I head home. Talk about a photogenic family. Everyone looked amazing in front of the camera. Clearly this baby girl is very loved. Mom is the type of super woman I’m insanely jealous of. I remember how hard it was getting out of the house with my one newborn baby daughter. I still have trouble getting out of the house and she’s practically dressing herself! On top of getting everyone out of the house and looking gorgeous by 8am last Friday (after the whole family being sick last week), she also came holding more than just a diaper bag and hangers. She had the time to prepare the most fabulous gift basket for me! Okay mom, you can stop being so perfect now! ;0) Enjoy your preview.

Baby S started her session wide awake but with a little patience she was soon snoozing away. She was so much fun to pose and with the help of her binky, even gave us some great sets off of the bean bag. The pumpkin shot we got by the skin of our teeth. I only ended up with one frame before she let us know she was all set with being stuffed into a pumpkin basket. Don’t worry, mom was sitting by her side the whole time. We never leave a baby in a set up like this with out an assistants hands right there. Another favorite is the hammock shot. Often times we pose babies on their bellies in the hammock, but because S loved being curled up on her back, we chose to pose her that way instead. I just love how curled up and snuggly she looks in that portrait!

Oh sweet baby M! He was one hungry boy. Mom did an amazing job feeding him, and feeding him, and feeding him some more. In between all of that eating he actually slept a little for us and we were able to get some beautiful portraits. I just adore the family image below. Seeing mom and dad’s joy and complete adoration, despite the exhaustion I know they were feeling, is so beautiful to me! Doesn’t that just sum up the newborn experience?! Enjoy your preview mom and dad. And great job!

It was only a little over a year ago that I was photographing newborn baby C at her home. In fact, I didn’t even have a studio yet! Last week I had the pleasure of meeting the newest member of the family and trying to capture some sibling portraits of the two babies. We have been thrilled to be getting so many calls lately from families who are expecting baby number 2. It is such a joy to watch our families grow. Sometimes our head is spinning reigning in two babies, but the resulting images are always completely worth the chaos! Enjoy your preview W family!

I couldn’t believe how big baby MJ has gotten since the last time I saw him. At under two weeks he was a little peanut. At 6 months, he was already standing up against my chair!! So advanced. His big blue eyes stole my heart and he was fun and full of smiles. You may notice that we’ve started our holiday themed portraits. We are actually already coming up on our holiday card deadline! Where is the fall going?! Enjoy your preview!

What better way to start the day than laughing and running around with 4 gorgeous sisters in my studio! Ranging from 6 years to 2 months old, the W sisters were both beautiful and sweet. Normally I love photographing groups this large outdoors, however mother nature had other plans as this week did nothing but rain. We have so many adorable images but some of my favorite were taken with our golden background which I think looks beautiful with these girls coloring. Love those freckles! Enjoy your preview :0)

Seriously? How many more adorable babies can fit into one week?! I had a ball with baby A on Monday. Such a charmer! Don’t those eyes make you melt? And that gummy smile?? I have a perma-grin staring at the computer right now! Enjoy your preview mom and dad. It was so great to visit with you!

It’s funny, I can look at any newborn photograph I’ve ever taken and remember just what the session was like. I can still recall baby E’s newborn session. She was already so social and didn’t want much to do with sleeping. Well, she was back for her 6 months old portraits and turns out that miss social butterfly is a natural in front of the camera! I’m sure you’ll all agree that she is a total “Gerber” baby, but on top of being completely adorable, she was also so sweet and full of smiles the entire session! I don’t think this girl can take a bad picture! Enjoy your preview!
