Talk about a beautiful pregnancy! I was prepping this preview and one of our editors said “What is with our maternity clients lately? They all look like SUPERMODELS!” Seriously! I have been just loving our maternity sessions lately. Moms-to-be come in feeling a little timid with their changing body. You know how the last trimester goes, what you bought last week already doesn’t fit, never mind finding matching jewelry and shoes! They say “I don’t care what you do, just please make me look good again!” Well, these women already look amazing, but I love capturing their beauty and making them realize it. It feels so good when a couple walks out of a maternity session and the dad says “that was actually fun, thanks!” and mom says “that was so much easier than I thought it would be!”, but the best part is when they see their gallery. When mom says “I can’t believe that’s me, I feel so beautiful!”, THAT is why I adore maternity sessions.
Well T and H were a gorgeous young couple from Boston. I was SO SAD to hear they will be moving back to California shortly after their newborn sessions because they were so much fun to work with. Hopefully they’ll fly that baby out for me to photograph again some day… or maybe I will just have to come to them! Hmmmm, Southern California isn’t sounding too bad right now (currently 20 degrees in Warwick)! Thanks for the fun morning. H, you look beyond amazing. Enjoy these last few weeks and I can’t wait to hear your good news.

I love getting to meet clients before their babies are born! K and S will be back with their newborn in a just a few weeks and I loved capturing their excitement during this final stage of pregnancy. K had so many fabulous accessories, I had a field day styling her! You might say I have a slight obsession with white lately, and K gladly obliged me. This girl doesn’t take a bad photo! Enjoy your preview!

M and A visited the studio for their maternity session this week and I had a great time photographing them. You could tell they were so thrilled to be expecting the arrival their little one in a couple of weeks! Best wishes in the coming weeks. I can’t wait to hear your good news!

Simple. Classic. Beautiful. A’s sneak peek is a bit overdue, but I’ve been dying to share it. I love how A’s beauty shines through in these. I know it’s cliche, but she truly is glowing! It was so much fun getting to know you A and I can’t wait to hear your good news soon! Enjoy your preview.

I had so much fun with the R family this week. We had a casual, easy-going maternity session that just flew by. 3 year old C is sure to be an amazing big brother, he did so well at the shoot! I can’t wait to meet the newest addition to your family!

I’ll admit it. I have an eyelash obsession. It was initiated by my college roommate who would endlessly apply mascara before our nights out. Now I get my fix from documenting every tiny lash on a newborn baby (and boys always have the best!). I caught myself during S’s maternity session repeatedly telling her that she had amazing lashes. I’m sure that she must have picked up on my obsession. But seriously, she had amazing lashes! I’m sure baby boy will have them as well. I can’t wait to meet him! Enjoy your preview S and K.

J and her family came in the week before Christmas for her maternity session. J was the epitome of “glowing”. She looked amazing in her pregnancy and had the most beautiful profile. We captured some classics in the studio and then braved the cold for some outdoor portraits. The photos below where we incorporated the bench dedicated to J’s husband are my favorite from the shoot. There is a light to those photos I can’t quite put my finger on ;0) Enjoy your preview J. Can’t wait to hear your good news!

3 previews coming your way before Christmas and this is the first! E looked absolutely amazing during her maternity and it was fun capturing her beauty. Merry Christmas and I can’t wait to hear your good news!

M and W visited the studio last week for their maternity session. Mom-to-be had so many fabulous ideas. They don’t know what sex the baby is yet so they just call the baby “teeny tiny tenney”! They had an adorable knit blanket for me to incorporate into our session. I love when clients bring in special keepsakes to personalize their sessions, it keeps the creative juices flowing! M also had some gorgeous shoes and after living in Europe for some time, neither of the two minded jumping in front of the window for some more intimate portraits. I kept commenting that M was a perfect model, so comfortable and content in her pregnancy. I just adore the image below of them snuggling. Can’t you just feel them dreaming of baby?? :0) Such a magical time in life! Enjoy your preview.

D and J visited the studio last week for their maternity session and I had so much fun getting to know them. We did all of the classics! They even remembered their ultrasound pictures which I always love incorporating. I can’t wait to meet their little one!
