I’ve had the pleasure of photographing J since he was born and he gets even more adorable every time I see him. He was so much fun during his first birthday cake smash. He might have been our biggest cake enthusiast yet! Just look at him go after that cake! I laugh every time I see these. I hope they bring as much joy to his family! Enjoy your preview.

Baby J was so sweet and sleepy!  From beginning to end he was totally relaxed in every set up.  I’m predicting J will be a little towhead!  He had perfect porcelain skin and some of the blondest hair I’ve ever seen on a newborn.  Just perfect in every way.  Enjoy your preview mom and dad!

I was so excited to see baby A and his family again!  It is so fun watching my baby plan babies hit each new milestone.  Baby A is 6 months old now and sitting up like a champ.  I know I’ve said it a million times, but 6 months is my absolute favorite age to photograph!  Not only is A adorable, but I loved catching up with mom too.  I could chat with her all day!  Enjoy your preview!

Baby B made us all work at the beginning of his shoot.  He was so alert to start our session but after a big feeding, he was happy enough to look around and take it all in.  That is my favorite time to capture images of newborns interacting with their parents.  I love the way they turn towards the voices of their parents and mimic their expressions.  I remember my daughter as a newborn trying to latch on to my husband’s nose when he nuzzled her.  I wish I had an image of that to look back on and it thrills me to capture moments like that for other families.  Baby B finally did fall asleep (as all newborns eventually do!) and we ended up with a really great session!  Enjoy your preview.

O and O were one of my best twin 1st birthday portrait sessions yet!  They weren’t quite walking yet, so that was certainly a big help.  Usually twin toddlers equal a LOT of composting because just when one smiles, the other crawls out of the set.  Me and the parents always get a really great workout.  Luckily for my editor, we captured tons of adorable shots of these siblings together with very little need for photoshop magic!  And how cute are they?  I have another set of twins coming in this morning to celebrate their first birthday and looking at all of these images makes me super excited.  Enjoy your preview!

I’m running out the door for an appointment but I just HAVE to share this preview before I go!  Baby J was an absolute dream to photograph.  He was so sleepy he just breezed through every set.  At two weeks old, it is unusual to have such an easy session!  He rocked it.  Enjoy your preview.  Can’t wait to show you all of the rest!

Baby R came into our session a social butterfly.  She loved looking around and getting to know me a little before settling down to sleep.  I love using newborn’s awake time to capture images with parents.  It’s really important that they start the session with a feeding so they contently gaze at the camera or into their parents’ faces while I snap away!  A full belly always does the trick.  Baby R did fall asleep soon enough and we captured those sweet sleepy newborn shots I know mom and dad will adore.  Enjoy your sneak peek!

J and J visited the studio last week for their maternity session.  J is expecting twin in just a few short weeks and I still can’t get over how fabulous she looked for our session.  She was nervous shooting so close to her due date with twins on the way, but I think she’ll be happy she went through with the shoot once she sees these!  I love getting to know clients before they come in for their newborn sessions.  It’s really fun learning about them as a couple before baby makes three.  J and J had great style and were so much fun to chat with.  I can’t wait to meet their little ones!

Isn’t baby J one of the most adorable newborns you’ve ever seen?!  Sleep wasn’t on his agenda when we started our session, but I didn’t mind!  I was able to capture that adorable little face of his with his big blue eyes wide open.  After about 2 hours of comforting and feeding, J finally fell into a content sleep.  Then we were able to get all of those adorable sleepy shots as well.  I just love the suitcase shot incorporating a family quilt.  Who am I kidding?  I love every shot from this session!  Enjoy your preview.

My editors are already fighting over who gets this folder.  But I might just keep it for myself!  That is how much I love staring at baby S’s adorable face.  I smile at every. single. frame.  She’s as sweet as she is beautiful too.  She was perfectly content being placed in various props and watching me and her mother make fools out of ourselves!  Thanks for the fun morning L family.  I loved seeing you all again and am already counting the days until our next session.
