Meet one of our newest baby planners, baby B! Born a premie, B visited the studio last week at 3 months old but was just as teeny as a newborn. We started with some adorable sibling shots and then B stole the show. She even fell asleep at the end after all of the commotion for some dreamy newborn style shots. Mom loved the “Heidi Bonnet” by FAAS. One of my favorites too, of course! Enjoy your sneak peek!

It feels like just yesterday that I had mom and dad in my studio for their first maternity session. Flash forward 1 1/2 years and 3 sessions and we were welcoming their newest addition, newborn baby C! C’s big brother did an awesome job despite feeling under the weather. I love all of the family portraits we captured and the one below with daddy is priceless. I love how tiny babies look in their dad’s hands. C was such a sweet baby, dreaming right through the commotion. Enjoy your sneak peek and these two little pumpkins. Happy Halloween!

Oh, how I love the colors we’ve been able to work with at the park this past week. It takes a really dry Summer to get bright red leaves on the trees here in NE, and we’re so lucky that 2012 has been a dry year so far!
J had a blast collecting apples in our basket, playing in the leaves, and running around with me! His one-month old baby brother M made an appearance at the end of the shoot, and we kept him snuggled up in blankets while J loved on him. Too cute!

I had so much fun with these beautiful babies last week. 15 month old E was a busy girl, but she loved pausing to shower kisses on her new baby sister. We had fun dressing them them up together and while L was eating, I was even able to get a few fun shots of just the new big sis. While we did L’s individual portraits, dad took E for a ride to keep her busy. When I saw she had fallen asleep, I knew we had to try for a shot of the two girls sleeping next to each other. At 15 months old, E was officially the oldest baby I’ve ever posed! That image gave me the goosebumps as I was shooting it. Enjoy your sneak peek! Can’t wait to show you the rest <3 ~Heidi

I had the pleasure of meeting this family for big sister C’s first birthday cake smash just last year. I was so excited to see them on the calendar again so that I could help welcome their new baby boy! Dad was excited to bring along some of his sports gear for his little man. I actually LOVE all of the adorable Patriots themed portraits we captured and big sister C even jumped in for a few. Going through them all I can think is that they are the shots every dad would love having with his babies! Admittedly I’m a bit of a Pats fan myself, so perhaps I’m biased, but as I was taking these with A sleeping so soundly I knew they would be some new favs. A rocked his whole session. Can’t wait to show you the rest. Enjoy your sneak peek! ~Heidi

I always say that one of the best parts of this job is watching families grow. I first met mom and dad 2 years ago when mom was pregnant with D. D started his newborn session wide awake and ready to party… and 2 years later it was no different! Now he was back introducing his baby sister who was also a social butterfly. Mom mentioned that their new baby girl A had been alert since the day she was born. She sure did start off that way, staring right into my lens with her gorgeous eyes! After plenty of cuddling, she fell right to sleep for me and we created some beautiful newborn portraits that were “girly” this time! D was an awesome big brother who never minded stopping in his tracks for a moment just long enough to bestow a kiss on little A. Enjoy your sneak peek!

It’s been just under two years since I first met this gorgeous family for S’s newborn session. Last week she was back as a proud big sister showing off her new baby brother MJ. He was nice and sleepy for us (it seems like the second one always is). You never know how a young older sibling will react to a new addition in the family, but S was so loving and gentle with MJ. She showered him with kisses and smiled away for me. I’m so excited to show mom and dad the full session and all of the sweet moments we captured. Enjoy your sneak peek!

This is my THIRD newborn session for this gorgeous family in the past 3 years! Mom and dad now have quite the crew and still somehow manage to show up completely put together and laid back. Big brothers D (3) and D (1) were amazing with their little sister. It was fun to finally break out the girl colors and props for princess E who slept so sweetly through our session. Some of my favorite photos are of everyone interacting together. It’s so clear to see how E has completed this family when capturing everyone’s love for her. Enjoy your sneak peek!

I first met big brother B back when he was 2 years old. I was so excited to hear that mom was expecting baby number two and even more thrilled when I found out B had a baby sister! As you can see from the portraits below, B is totally enamored by his little sibling. He couldn’t wait for his turn in front of the camera and was so gentle and loving towards her when it was time for their pictures together. Totally smitten! I loved capturing the bond that has already formed between the two. Of course, gorgeous A rocked her individual portraits as well. A typical baby girl, never to be out-shown! Mom brought a few keepsakes, including the cameo below, for us to incorporate into the session. I always love playing around to work meaningful tokens into portraits. Enjoy your sneak peek!

Baby M’s family has been with HHP since before 2-year-old K was born! Heidi photographed their first maternity and K’s newborn shoot, and I was lucky enough to get to photograph M in her mama’s belly and in the studio.
M’s nursery is decorated with purple butterflies, and we wanted to subtly add a few to her sets. This butterfly looked right at home in our purple garden! M was also quite the social butterfly during her family photos, trying to stay awake to take in all the action.
Big sister K was so proud to have a baby sister, and held her, sang to her, and posed wherever we asked her to. I was impressed! Of course, mom and dad are stunning, too. Way to make my job easy, B family!
