Baby G was so sweet and sleepy for our newborn session last week. Already a little princess, her session was full of girly little details! She looks just like a tiny doll in all of these. I met mom and dad back before their maternity session so I was anxiously awaiting the good news of their arrival. What’s most exciting is that G is one of my newest baby planners, so I get to watch her grow up all year long! Enjoy your sneak peek.

Our busiest month of newborns is sadly winding down. In fact last week were some of my last newborns for a little stretch and the fact that they were all so adorable only makes me miss my newborns even more this week! Baby E was so good to me. He was nice and sleepy and loved being posed. He smiled throughout our session, from the time I first placed him on the bean bag until the very end with mom and dad. Enjoy your sneak peek!

How adorable is this little guy?! The beautiful blue hat in the first portrait was knit by his great grandmother. He looks so sweet cuddled up in it. B was a good sleeper for me, but didn’t much like his hands posed. Every time I would have him set just right he would snatch them right back in! He already knew just what he wanted. With that grip, he’s sure to be a little athlete! B was too big for our tiny pumpkin basket, but he actually did one better and slept on a real one for us! I love all of the family portraits we created the best. I can’t wait for you to see the rest mom and dad! Enjoy your sneak peek!

Baby J loved hanging out at the studio! Hanging shots are usually some of the harder portraits we create here but J seemed to love them. Whether out on dad’s arm or curled up in a hammock, J was a perfect little poser for me. He slept away our whole session last week until the very end. I can’t wait to show you the rest mom and dad! It was so hard to pick favorites for the preview!

Look what Santa brought early! Baby M was one of the gorgeous newborns I adored cuddling last week. She wasn’t super sleepy, which means I had the chance to cuddle her a little extra. Always the best part of the job! She kept me on my toes, but when she finally did curl up and sleep, she looked like a little angel. I love the stocking portraits because I think they really show how teeny tiny she is. I can just see her a few years from now, holding that stocking and pulling the toys out at Christmas, with mom and dad remembering when she was tiny enough to be swimming inside of it! Enjoy your sneak peek.

My goodness, I don’t know how I missed this one! This preview has been ready for a week and somehow never made it up on the blog. Well it’s worth the wait for this little sweetheart. Baby Q was a peanut. With her perfect little features I think she looks just like a doll. Of course it doesn’t hurt to have a gorgeous family. I just adore the portraits we created with mom and dad as well. Capturing the look on new parents’ faces makes me smile EVERY time. Enjoy your sneak peek!

October is in full swing and that means LOTS of newborns will be visiting the studio. October turned out to be our busiest newborn month of 2011 and they are already rolling in. Baby G was our second newborn boy of the month and he was oh-so-handsome! He smiled away through the first half of the shoot and easily breezed through our sets. This is sure to be one gorgeous gallery! Enjoy your sneak peek!

I loved this family! You never know how a newborn session will go when there’s a toddler involved, but 2 year old O was such a good big brother! He was sweet and gentle and a great listener. Oh, and completely adorable! I just adore the sibling shots of them lying on the floor together at the bottom of the preview. Those would make me smile every day if I had them hanging on my wall! We started with some beautiful and relaxed family portraits and then N got to be the star of the show. Talk about two gorgeous kiddos! Enjoy your sneak peek!

Bitty baby B was so tiny and sweet. Born at 5 lbs even, B was one of the smallest peanuts I’ve photographed in a while. People often think that tiny babies will sleep better, but I find that tiny girls are the most feisty! Baby B did give us some great sleepy time, but she also woke up and socialized for part of our time together. Whether awake or asleep, I loved capturing all of her perfect little features. Enjoy your sneak peek!

This gorgeous family visited the studio right before hurricane Irene blew in. Dad knew he was in for a long weekend with the storm. Looking back, I think the firefighter images were even more fitting for the time this sweet baby girl was born! Baby P was so social and very alert for most of our session. I swear she would drift off to sleep just long enough to get these shots and then wake right back up after I got a few frames. It turned into quite a long session. which gave me even more time to cuddle P and chat with mom and dad. By the time they left, I felt like we were old friends! Enjoy your sneak peek!
