Baby L, 9 weeks old. Rhode Island and Massachusetts baby photographer.

1-3 months old is considered an “in-between” age in the portrait photography world.  Babies are not sleepy enough for newborn portraits, but not old enough or strong enough to be posed in a variety of ways.  Smiling is usually hit or miss as they respond mostly to faces… not faces hidden behind giant lenses.  Well…
